You need JavaScript enabled to view it Leaders of PPPP and PML(N) had meeting for about an hour in which they discussed future strategy. In a press conference after the meeting both leaders answered media questions. They said that both parties will join hands for restoration of democracy. Power will not be concentrated in confederation the government will be made by inviting all the parties. In question about forming government with MQM Mr Zardari Said that PPPP is ready to have talks with any party for government formation if it is in favor of Pakistan. Both parties agreed to join together in forming government in both national and provincial assemblies. They also said that they will invite ANP to form government.
Both parties have same point of view about restoration of judiciary and its independence. Nawaz Sharif said that they will restore the constitution of 1973 and new parliament will take oath under the restored constitution. Both parties made it clear that they will make sure that the newly formed government completes its full tenure.
When asked about the future of resident Mr Nawaz Sharif said that he has no personal comments to make but the president must accept the decision of Pakistani Nation and should step down himself. PML(N) emphasized that they do not accept dictatorship in any form.
The press conference lacked two questions first candidate from which party will become next Prime minster. Even though both have separately accepted each other mandate still nation will be looking forward to clear mention of names. Second is that do they both disagree working under President Musharraf.
There may be some development on government formation but the press conference didn't reveal any concrete development on the government formation.
After this press conference there is little possibility that any of the parties will invite PML(Q) in government formation but both the parties are forgetting PML(Q) mandate in Boluchistan.

The US senator made it clear that it is not right to ask US about their views about future of President of Pakistan because it is upto Pakistani nation to decide.
